Department of Archives
Archive of various documents. It includes:
- Unbound documents that are related to the history of Kavala.
- Archives of any kind of businesses, unions, services etc (books, invoices, mail, revenue stamps, cerificates, licences, folders).
- Family archives of any kind (mail, certificates, documents of legal transactions etc).
- Archives of Organizations and individuals that took part in the Resistance of our region against the conquerors of the era of German occupation in Greece (1941 - 1944).
Archive of election material. It includes:
- Ballots of parliamentary, municipal and european elections.
- Ballots of other kinds of elections (organizations etc).
- Electoral leaflets and brochures of various political parties.
- Leaflets and brochures of various candidates.
- Posters of political party leaders and other candidates.
- Written pre-election favours and promises from politicians to citizens.
- Photographs of electoral offices and pre-election gatherings.
Archive of Jews of Kavala and other regions. It includes:
- Bulgarian catalogue of the census of Jews of Kavala of 1942 - 1943, before holocaust.
- Collected evidence (unbound documents, notes etc) for the Jews of Kavala and other regions of Macedonia and Thrace.
- Photographic material (synagogue etc).
